DRY SKINCARE ROUTINE WITH PLATINUM DELUXE
DRY SKINCARE ROUTINE WITH PLATINUM DELUXE
Do you have dry skin? You shouldn't! Moisturizing in the winter is just as important as it is in the summer for dry skincare routine. There are a lot of great ways to keep your skin moisturized, but I've found one way that works especially well for me: platinum deluxe products and moisturizer.
Here's my daily routine:
USE CLEANSER:
In the morning and before bed, I use platinum deluxe Cream Cleanser. This cleanser has a rich texture (it's a white cream) that removes makeup without stripping your skin. It's also incredibly moisturizing for my dry skin type! The best part about this cleanser is that it contains glycerin, which helps to replenish your skin's natural moisture.
HYDRATE YOUR SKIN:
To warm things up in the winter, get a humidifier! I used to run mine at night while I slept - it felt great on my tight facial skin!
GO FRAGRANCE FREE:
Fragrance free is key in the winter time. It is so easy to develop a strong smell from candles or scented products. Keep the stick on fragrances away from your face or you will smell like perfume all day!
DON’T FORGET A MOISTURIZER:
Don't forget a good moisturizer! Whether you are using platinum deluxe moisturizer , Oil of Olay, or any other brand. It's important to find a moisturizer that will work for your skin type and leave it feeling soft. Platinum products for my dry skincare routine which is a thick balm that I apply to my hands and smooth over my face before bed. I wake up with nice, soft skin!
DRY SKINCARE ROUTINE TIPS YOU SHOULD FOLLOW:
Here are some tips to help get your skin looking its best.
1. Get a daily coffee scrub
The caffeine helps to soften the skin while the oils help to take away dead cells, leaving it looking brighter and less prone to irritation. One study found that caffeine can even kill acne-causing bacteria on the surface of the skin.
2. Bundle up in a blanket when you're drying off after showering or bathing:
This will add moisture back in your body, which will make all of your other dry skincare products more effective!
3. Make sure your oil is as pure as possible:
Get rid of any heavy metals and toxic ingredients, especially if you're using a cleanser.
4. Don't just rely on moisturizer:
Apply it before bed, letting your skin soak up the lotion overnight to really give it a chance to absorb it.
5. Try an acid toner:
This will help to clean out your pores and remove any excess oil that may have built up inside.
6. Use stress-relieving products:
Massage oils and serums into your face for instant relaxation!
7. Don't use over-the-counter medicated toners to treat your acne:
Be sure to pick up a naturally based tonic instead, which will take care of the problem without potentially causing more irritation or breakouts.
8. Skip the masks:
For some people, they work wonders, but others can leave their skin more prone to irritation and breakouts than when they started the process.
9. Cleanse your face with a gentle cleanser first, then add strength if you need it
This order helps you to gently remove any excess oil from the areas around your nose and chin so that you can better focus on those stubborn pimples!
10. Skip the lotion:
Many of the new brands put a ton of product in them for optimal results, but this can actually just clog pores and make your skin more prone to irritation. Use a light moisturizer instead!
There you have it! Hopefully these tips should be able to help you out if you're going through dry skin problems.
