The Ultimate Step-by-Step Skin Care Routine Platinum Deluxe cosmetics

A skincare routine can seem overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be.

The key is to start small and do what works for your skin.

You don’t have to follow a strict regimen every day of the week; just make sure you’re taking care of your skin on a regular basis. If you want great looking skin, stick with these six steps:

Step 1: Cleanse your skin.

  • Cleanse your skin.

This is the first step in your facial care routine, so it's important to choose a gentle cleanser that's free of chemicals, fragrances and dyes. Gentle cleansing means using a product formulated for sensitive skin like Platinum Deluxe® cosmetics' Gentle Cleansing Oil. It has been specially designed to cleanse the face without drying out or irritating it, leaving your face feeling soft and smooth after every wash without the use of harsh chemicals or fragrances that can irritate sensitive skin types further down the road.* Use this product twice daily: once in the morning and once at night—ideally right before bedtime so you can relax while you sleep off any dirt or makeup residue left behind by earlier activities.* And don't forget about sunscreen! Sun exposure can hasten signs of aging like wrinkles around eyes area -- so make sure you're wearing SPF 30 broad spectrum protection every day (even on cloudy days).

Step 2: Use a water-based serum that’s packed with hyaluronic acid.

The next step is to apply a water-based serum that’s packed with hyaluronic acid.

Hyaluronic acid is a humectant that attracts and retains water, which helps keep skin hydrated. It’s naturally found in the skin as well as foods like cucumbers, tomatoes, avocados and more.

Step 3: Apply a light, oil-free moisturizer.

Moisturize skin after cleansing. After removing makeup and washing your face, apply a light, oil-free moisturizer to the face, neck, chest, hands and arms (if you like) and legs (if you like). Moisturizing helps prevent dryness that can lead to wrinkles.

Cover UpIf you have oily skin, use a moisturizer that’s oil-free and noncomedogenic (doesn’t clog pores). If you have dry skin, look for a moisturizer with humectants such as hyaluronic acid or glycerin.:

Step 4: Apply eye cream before bed as part of your nighttime skincare routine.

Eye cream is a must-have for your skincare routine. If you want to reduce puffiness, dark circles and fine lines, then eye cream should be part of your nighttime routine. When applying eye cream before bed, gently apply it with your ring finger so you don't irritate the sensitive skin around your eyes. Be sure not to rub too hard as this could cause irritation or redness in this area of the face.

If you want a more intense treatment, then apply eye cream in the morning after washing your face. This will help hydrate and protect your skin from the sun's harmful rays.

Step 5: Exfoliate your skin weekly to remove dead skin cells and prevent clogged pores.

Exfoliation is an important part of your skin care routine because it removes dead skin cells and prevents clogging.

You should exfoliate at least once a week, but not more than twice. You can use a scrub, loofah or washcloth to physically remove the old cells from your skin. Always use a gentle cleanser after exfoliating to prevent irritation and redness on sensitive areas like your face or neck.

To have great looking skin, you have to take care of it!

If you want to have great looking skin, you have to take care of it!

  • Use a gentle cleanser. Using a cleanser that is too harsh can strip your skin of its natural oils and cause it to be dry and irritated.

  • Use moisturizer. Moisturizers help keep your skin from being too dry, which can lead to wrinkles and other signs of aging. Use one sparingly so that it doesn't clog up your pores, which could lead to acne or blackheads. It's important for everyone—but particularly those with oily or combination (oily/dry) complexions—to avoid products with alcohol or fragrance because they are likely to irritate their skin further instead of helping them feel better after washing away dirt, sweat, grime and makeup throughout the day."

If you want to take care of your skin, it’s important to follow a routine. This will help you keep your face looking its best!
