5 Ways To Boost Your Skincare Routine

The key to healthy skin is a routine. You must wash your face and apply moisturizer, sunscreen and eye cream every day if you want to achieve glowing, healthy-looking skin. But what about the other five basics that go into making up a skincare routine? In this article we'll share five simple steps that will help you keep your face looking its best!

1. Wash Your Face

  • Wash Your Face

The first step to a beautiful, healthy complexion is washing your face twice a day with a gentle cleanser. You don't need to use soap or any other harsh chemicals on your skin; instead, opt for an oil-free cleanser that will cleanse without stripping away natural oils from the surface of your skin. If you're not sure which one is best for you and how much time they should be used in conjunction with each other, try out different ones until you find something that works best for you!

To ensure proper cleansing all over your face—not just around where acne forms—wash up before going to bed at night and after exercise during the day (which helps remove dirt from sweat).

2. Apply A Moisturizer

Moisturizers are an essential part of any skincare routine. They help to restore the skin's natural barrier and prevent dryness, wrinkles and fine lines. Whether you're using moisturizer on its own or in combination with other products, remember that it should be applied at least 15 minutes before sunscreen (or before sunscreen if you don't want to use it).

Moisturizers can be used alone or in combination with other products. For example: If you have oily skin but hate greasy makeup bases like foundation or concealer then try applying a hydrating cream instead of foundation; It won't change how your face looks but will make sure that your face feels hydrated all day long!

3. Use A Sunscreen

The sun is one of the most important elements in your skincare routine. It's a great source of vitamin D, so you can build up your body's immune system and boost its strength. But when it comes to protecting against harmful UV rays from the sun, sunscreen is key—even if you're indoors or on cloudy days.

The SPF number on a sunscreen bottle refers to how long it will last before running out (you'll have to reapply every few hours). If possible, try to find an SPF 30+ brand that protects against both UVA/UVB rays; otherwise choose something with at least SPF 20 (and preferably higher).

If possible, apply sunscreen 30 minutes before going outside so that it has time to absorb into your skin properly; don't forget about reapplying once every two hours while in direct sunlight!

4. Use An Eye Cream

Eye creams are the best way to help you achieve the dewy, hydrated skin that you want. They can also help reduce fine lines and wrinkles, dark circles, puffiness and dryness while boosting your anti-aging efforts.

Whether you’re focused on reducing inflammation or just looking for an all-around brighter complexion, eye creams will do the trick!

5. Exfoliate Regularly

Exfoliation is a great way to improve the appearance of your skin. It can help reduce fine lines and wrinkles, smooth out uneven texture, and even out dark spots. It also helps increase collagen production which has been shown to improve elasticity in the skin.

To exfoliate properly:

  • Apply a gentle cleanser (I recommend an oil-based one) to your face using both hands or a cotton pad; don't rinse off the cleanser immediately after applying it! Leave it on for at least five minutes before rinsing off with warm water or cold water if desired.

  • Use a loofa sponge or soft cloth soaked in warm water to gently remove any excess dead cells from around your eyes and mouth area by starting at those areas then moving down towards where there are larger pores such as on cheeks/forehead area etc., then go over entire face including neck just once before washing again cleanly afterwards - DO NOT wring outcloth too much because this will cause roughness which isn't good either!

the five basics that should be included in every skincare routine

  • Wash your face.

  • Apply moisturizer.

  • Use sunscreen daily, if you have oily skin or acne-prone skin, use an SPF of at least 30 (the higher the SPF number, the better). Also remember to wear sunglasses when going out in the sun so that your eyes are protected as well!

  • An eye cream is optional but recommended if you're looking for additional hydration and protection from fine lines around this area of your face; they can also help reduce puffiness around eyes due to lack of sleep (or lack thereof).

When it comes to skincare, there are a few things that you should keep in mind. The most important thing is to keep your skin healthy by washing it regularly and applying moisturizers everyday. Sunscreen helps prevent sunburns and keeps skin looking youthful by protecting against UV rays while using an eye cream can help reduce wrinkles and dark circles around the eyes as well
