Skincare is important! If you want to look and feel good, it's worth the effort of taking care of your skin. I've been doing this for years, and it's made a huge difference in my life. Here's how I start my mornings:
Wash your face
Wash your face with a gentle cleanser. Warm water is best for washing your face because it helps to open pores and soften skin, but if you have very sensitive skin, use cool water instead. A soft washcloth will also work well; if you're using one that's too harsh or scratchy, it could irritate your skin and cause redness or irritation.
-
Use a facial brush or sponge: A facial brush can be used in place of traditional cleansing tools like sponges and pads (for example). These brushes may come with bristles made out of either natural materials like boar hair or synthetic materials such as nylon--and they're often used with creams or gels rather than soaps.*
Apply a toner
Toner is a great way to remove excess dirt and oil from your face. It's also a great way to prepare your skin for the rest of your skincare routine, as it helps remove any residue left behind by cleansers, allowing other products to work more effectively.
The most important thing about toner is that it should be applied with cotton pads or balled-up tissue paper (not directly on your face).
Apply an essence
-
An essence is a liquid that you apply directly to your face after cleansing. It's designed to be absorbed into your skin, delivering nutrients and hydration.
-
You can use an essence any time of day or night (or both), but it's especially helpful in the morning when your skin needs extra nourishment to recover from the stress of being exposed to air all night long.
-
There are many different kinds of essences available on Amazon; some are made with natural ingredients like seaweed extract, others contain hyaluronic acid for plumping up wrinkles or vitamin C for brightening effects. Some come in bottles with droppers so that you can control how much product goes onto each area--this is preferable if you have sensitive skin since it will allow you less room for error than pouring directly from a bottle would provide!
Use serum
Serum is a concentrated form of skincare products, and it's a good way to get the most out of your skincare routine. Serums can be used in place of moisturizer or eye cream, depending on what you're looking for.
Serums are typically applied after toner but before moisturizer or makeup if you're using them with other products (like face masks).
Apply eye cream
Apply eye cream under your eyes. Apply a small amount of eye cream to the orbital bone, which is the prominent bone that surrounds and protects your eyes. Be sure to apply it in a gentle patting motion; otherwise, you can irritate sensitive skin around your eyes.
Use hyaluronic acid or retinol-based products for extra hydration and anti-aging benefits (or both). The hyaluronic acid molecule is roughly 1,000 times larger than water molecules--this means it's great at holding onto moisture! Retinol helps with collagen production and reduces wrinkles over time by increasing cell turnover rate in the uppermost layer of skin called stratum corneum. This speeds up how quickly dead cells are shed from our bodies so new ones can take their place without any build up on top."
Put on a moisturizer and/or sunscreen, if necessary

Put on a moisturizer and/or sunscreen, if necessary.
You should use both in the morning and evening. Moisturizer helps keep your skin hydrated, while sunscreen helps protect it from the sun's harmful rays--and even if you've got a tan, there are still UV rays that can damage your skin.
